The request
I listen to what you're after: the goal, the budget, your income, your commitments and your plans for the next few years. The call commits you to nothing.
What I need from you
A short call and a rough picture of the deal.

I explain every choice.
An introductory call with no obligation · your situation and goals come first
I'm still here after you sign.
The real order varies from deal to deal; this is the typical route.
I listen to what you're after: the goal, the budget, your income, your commitments and your plans for the next few years. The call commits you to nothing.
What I need from you
A short call and a rough picture of the deal.
We gather the documents together — only what your deal actually needs.
What I need from you
The documents on the list. The exact list is set at the introductory call.
I analyse the numbers and compare scenarios: what you can repay, the total cost, and how sensitive each one is to change.
What I need from you
Honest answers about income, commitments and plans.
I prepare an accurate file and submit it. Approval depends on the lender's review.
What I need from you
Signing the applications, and any extra documents asked for.
I negotiate with the lenders on the strength of the data and compare their offers. The outcome depends on your circumstances and the lender's review.
What I need from you
Being available to decide when the offers arrive.
We go through the terms, the documents and the timetable together, and I stay with it until the loan is actually paid out.
What I need from you
Going through the terms with me before you sign.
The loan is paid out and the key is yours. After signing I'm still a call away for questions about the mortgage.
We go through every one of these stations together. The first step is a short call.

A fair comparison
You can get a mortgage on your own, through your bank, or with an adviser. Here are the three side by side.

The whole financial picture
A typical mortgage adviserUsually the mortgage only.

Documents and tracking
A typical mortgage adviserA document checklist from the adviser.
With LidorOne digital file in your client area, with every stage tracked.
I don't promise savings. It's often worth checking, but the outcome depends on each case: your figures, the property and the offers that come back.
Let's look at your case
One person sees you through, from the first call to the end.

A message, a call, a signature and a key in the door. Short clips, for illustration.
First homes, moving up, investors, refinancing, loan consolidation, files after a refusal, the self-employed and any-purpose financing. Every deal starts from what you can afford and what you want.
The fee depends on the type of deal and how complex the file is. I set out the process and the cost in advance at the introductory call, so there are no surprises.
The bank offers its own products. A private adviser looks at your situation, compares the options and runs the process with the lenders on your behalf.
It depends on the deal, the documents and the lender. Careful preparation and steady follow-up cut delays, but no one can promise the same timetable for every file.
Tell me what you're planning, and we'll work out what to check before you decide.
Leave your details to arrange a call about your options
There's no need to include financial details or documents. Your details go to Lidor's enquiry management system and are emailed via Resend; see the privacy policy.
A few questions to prepare for our call. Additional financial details are optional. No ID number or documents.
A few questions, a short illustration, and I receive a clear file. That way our first call starts with your deal, not with forms. Nothing is sent until you press send.
The basic questions a first call needs are required. Further financial information, such as income and commitments, is optional; you choose whether to share it. I don't ask for ID numbers, account numbers or documents. Approximate amounts are enough.
